Red Flag Warnings can be found across almost the entire state of Utah for this Monday, minus the St. George area. Alongside the fire danger, a Freeze Warning will be going into effect for the lower elevations of western Wyoming overnight tonight and holding strong until 9am Tuesday. Cover your plans! Temps are expected to fall lower than the freezing point of 32 degrees for those areas, if you can believe it! Other than the threats, you've probably noticed how much cooler it is across the region coming into the new work week. Highs will be similar to what we find late in September versus the end of August! Highs in Logan will struggle to make it into the 80s with Salt Lake topping off in the low 80s! Temps tonight will plummet thanks to the cooler burst. In fact, some of us could be waking up to patchy frost coming into Tuesday morning. Overnight lows will range from the low 30s to near 50 degrees across northern Utah. It may be early, but not a bad idea to have a light jacket handy if you've got to be out and about during the early morning! Otherwise, don't get too comfortable...much warmer weather will return quickly and we'll be finishing the work week off with the return of 90s and sunshine.
